Full of fun activities, the blue Lights and Sounds Buggy Driver has a steering wheel to turn, horn to beep, ignition to turn on, indicator lights, adjustable side mirrors and a gear stick with lights.

The bright colours and the sounds stimulate your baby’s senses and encourage them to look, listen, touch and feel. You can now download the Buggy TLC Driver App to access your personal account right from your phone. All of our divisions are committed to doing things better, with more efficiency as we update, modernise, and advance.The Patient Buggy Service is funded through the Leicester Hospitals Charity and individual voluntary donations. Our patient buggy service helps our patients and visitors get around the hospital site dropping them to the nearest appropriate entrance, or at our bus stop or car parks. Looking into mirrors is a great way for your baby to gain spatial awareness - and they can enjoy discovering themselves in the mirror too. We are looking for volunteers that have availability between Monday to Friday, mornings or afternoons.

We offer a Patient Buggy Service at each hospital, which operates within the perimeters of each of the hospital sites. No specific qualifications are required for this role, although any relevant qualifications should be detailed on the application. The Glenfield Hospital buggy can pick up and drop off patients for the car parks, the main entrance of the hospital or take patients to other parts of the hospital site.Undertake visual buggy safety checks before all shifts, report any faults immediately, and do not take any passengers until repaired or advised it is safe to travel. Being rewarded with lights and sounds when they press, push or turn encourages your baby to interact with the buggy, and helps them discover cause and effect for themselves. From 6 April 2017, skilled worker applicants, applying for entry clearance into the UK, have had to present a criminal record certificate from each country they have resided continuously or cumulatively for 12 months or more in the past 10 years.

Looking into mirrors is a great way for your baby to gain spatial awareness ï¾– and they can enjoy discovering themselves in the mirror too. Turn the steering wheel, look in the mirrors and interact with the Buggy Driver elements to activate fun light and sound effects. At the Leicester Royal Infirmary, the buggy can take patients around the hospital site to different buildings, to the car park or to the pharmacy.If you would like to make a donation towards the upkeep of the service, please ask the driver for a donation envelope.
