The Black Riders pursue Frodo into the Ford of Bruinen, where they are swept away by flood waters summoned by Elrond. Positive- Love Serkis’ performance (minus the above) has some good voices for the characters and very nice to listen to. II - The Council of Elrond - A council attended by many people; Gandalf tells the story of his escape from Saruman; they decide that the Ring must be destroyed and Frodo offers to take it to Mordor, and the Fellowship of the Ring is formed. Frodo and Sam, en route to Mordor, form an uneasy alliance with the wretched creature Gollum, who guides them to their destination while plotting to steal the ring.
The Orcs represented the worst of it as workers that have been tortured and brutalized by the war and industry. Expand old poems, develop characters mentioned in them (Old Man Willow, Tom Bombadil, the Barrow-wight).
