It might be possible with a bit (or a lot) of fiddling with the connections but really, washing a (dark, but any, to be honest) canopy in the washing machine asks fr the canopy to either be torn, to not be able to put it back in the wires, or to fade the color. I found it more difficult to access when my daughter was asleep and found myself knocking her and waking her when trying to put things in or remove them. She didn’t seem bothered by the bumping, if anything the gentle bumping had rocked her to sleep, so I think that trial shows it’s fine on any terrain. Even though the canopy is UPF50+ protective, it fades in the sun - which is a shame, because otherwise it's very nice, and you can even remove it for washing!

I don’t have to fold buggies very often and I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had a mind-blank at an airport or at my car boot.
