About this deal

The bass is okay, but there’s no massive boost to make you feel like you’re really jumping into your music.

Please note – BOTH the LEFT and RIGHT bud for INDY™ EVO can be used in Solo Mode, this is because the new tech allows you to Use Either Bud Solo. Open the Settings menu [Settings] on the iPhone, head to Bluetooth Settings [Bluetooth] and select your headphones [ Indy Evo] from the list. I am not an audiophile, so I can't give you a full breakdown on how they "actually" sound. Quality has been great for music and podcasts, so nothing to complain about here. Heavy on the mids, but range feels dynamic enough. Provides 3 preset EQs that can be accessed through a triple-tap (Music, Podcast, Movie). MY GUESS, is that I am rolling onto the headphone in my sleep, throwing it through the pairing cycle mode, and this is disconnecting them. It has literally never happened while I have been awake/using the earbuds.Yes! INDY™ EVO is sweat, water, and dust resistant (IP55), and the additional stability gel feature improves fit, comfort, and is great during exercise.

This same issue could also be interfering with your case lid when closing, if you are having a hard time closing the lid correctly, this is an indicator that buds are not set correctly or the gels are interfering. To ensure ease of re-pairing, please unpair or forget your INDY™ EVO in your paired Bluetooth device list The Skullcandy Indy Evo earbuds are one of four new wireless earphone options from the American audio manufacturer. These earphones are an evolution from the original Indy earbuds, which the company first released in 2019. Most consumers are familiar Bluetooth. It's this weird "thing" that exists, that we use sometimes, but not all the time. Let's go ahead and get this out of the way; Bluetooth and dependable connectivity are mutually exclusive concepts. The standard is out of control, it's hard to find whitepapers on, and has many different flavors. This means that every implementation of Bluetooth is different and it's never consistent. The Indy Evo has its own weird implementation, that can be frustrating if you don't know the patterns or how to recognize what's going on.

The App is terrible. It only has 3 functions (Change Volume, Eq or turn on stay aware mode) other than that, it only shows you the battery of the buds The Skullcandy app allows you to choose from three EQ options: music, movie, and podcast. It would’ve been nice to have more options for EQ than this, since tastes may differ when it comes to frequency response. Lows, mids, highs The Skullcandy Indy true wireless earbuds suffer from the same basic issues of a lot of Skullcandy products. This means that it’s difficult to make an initial connection, and it can be tough to connect both earphones. However, once you are connected, things are relatively stable. I’m a Senior Principal System Engineer and long time Onewheel rider. FallmanTech is about helping and sharing information about both Onewheel and technology. Movie Mode' is great for most media. From crisper dialogue to more booming action scenes, you'll hear improved audio nuances both big and small.

While the earbuds are OFF, press and hold the touch areas on both buds for 10 seconds to reset them.Once the earbuds are in pairing mode, the next steps involve connecting them to your device. Below is how you can complete this process on different operating systems. If both buds flash blue after being powered on, it means they are connecting to each other , and you should wait for them to finish. First, ensure that both buds are charged . Next, place them in the case and ensure the LEDs light red.

Each earbud is made from plastic, with a dangling stem and the Skullcandy logo on the outside with an LED light one each one. The matching charging case keeps things just as simple, with a matte design and the logo on the outside, with four LED lights indicating battery life.Note: This product has Rapid Charge. This means that you can charge your earbuds in the case for 10 minutes to get 1.2 hours play time. That means they’re less likely to fall out when you’re running. The case and buds combined deliver around 30 hours of audio. Next, place the earbuds in their charging case and ensure they show they are charging by the LEDs glowing red . Other features are available too, such as Ambient mode, when you need to tune into the world around you. There’s also a selection of 3 EQ modes to choose from.
