While this collaboration has been the topic of controversy, it has proven to be a celebrated release for Bratz and Kylie Jenner fans alike… but maybe not for the reasons you would think! Meygan is always on the hunt for a new adventure, whether that'll be traveling to a new land or trying out something new right at home. Meygan enjoys meeting new people, hosting parties, and traveling. She always keeps in touch with all of the friends she has made while traveling, and they help her keep up with the latest exotic trends. The Bratz Series 1 budget dolls do not come with many accessories or extra pieces aside from hairbrushes. The dolls do not come with a second outfit, hats, bags, posters, or a stand—only the doll and hairbrush. PRODUCTION RUN: is this a new batch?
Whether you love it or hate it, the Bratz budget dolls provide an affordable option for international collectors while also appealing to kids who simply love to play with dolls. A lot of the online doll community consists of adult collectors who often don’t understand that not all dolls are produced with them in mind—this is an instance where Bratz can reach a younger demographic and give international collectors access to affordable Bratz dolls. I love that MGA is taking more steps to reach its global fanbase and I hope these efforts continue! October 11: MGA reps hint that a full-length Bratz series may be on the horizon in an AdAge article about Alwayz Bratz. In September 2023, Isaac Larian posted a teaser of upcoming Mini Bratz. In the picture, the display shows several new collections to be added to the Mini Bratz lineup, a new PDQ display that does not have repeats, and updated green capsules.
Since August 2022, the Bratz Pretty ‘N’ Punk reproductions have been confirmed—but, it’s taken nearly a year for them to “officially” release. Originally slated to be split into two waves for January and March releases, the dolls were pushed to the Fall season as many toy companies delayed their Spring releases because sales were struggling. Despite this, the first wave—Yasmin, Cloe, and Jade—found their way to Myer stores in Australia earlier this year causing confusion amongst fans about when these dolls would be available elsewhere. On top of all this, there was an uncertainty about the inclusion of Sasha as she was not featured in the original 2005 collection. Meygan has an older sister named Tanya who appears in Bratz Kidz: Sleep-Over Adventure and is mentioned in a story on Bratz heaven. She has one cousin, Meygana Broomstix featured in the Bratzillaz doll line and animated series. In this case, I do believe the Bratz x Kylie dolls utilized the stamp method for the eyes and the spray method for the lips. While I wish the dolls were completely sprayed, I do not mind the use of the stamp method when the dolls look pretty. If the current Bratz roster is utilizing the stamp method, I think this is okay as long as the dolls look good; on that note, the Bratz x Kylie dolls are facially gorgeous aside from placement issues with some batches.
