About this deal

Up/down buttons to control the desired humidity level. Use these buttons to set the relative humidity between 35% and 80%RH. This controls the humidistat, which stops the machine from dehumidifying when the desired humidity is reached, thereby saving energy. ElectrIQ recommend that you set the machine to 50%RH and I see no need to deviate from that. Rubber feet at the base help to give the unit more stability when setting it up. However, this does not do much in making it easier to move the dehumidifier. Thanks to its small and light build, you can simply lift and carry the unit to any spot in the house. Emptying the electriQ 10L

Protect your health and home from the harmful effects of excess humidity with this fast-dry 10L desiccant dehumidifier from electriQ - now at popular request with WiFi Alexa/ Google Assistant voice control and automation. Suitable for flats and homes up to 6 bedrooms, this powerful yet incredibly energy efficient dehumidifier provides a cost-effective solution in combating damp, mould and condensation. Let's start with the basics though. It's a refrigerant (compressor) dehumidifier with a built-in humidistat, digital display and a 24 hour timer. Weighing 9.5kg, it's considerably lighter than the 20L version, and also much smaller. The plain white design isn't going to win any awards for innovation, but it's clean and simple to use. Who are Electriq though? Which are the company's the best dehumidifiers? And are there any you should avoid? Let's find out. Who Are Electriq?Electriq dehumidifiers often go under the radar compared to the "big three" manufacturers ( Ebac, E coAir and Meaco) - but they are starting to grow in popularity. The egg-shaped appliance measures 33.5cm wide by 28.0cm deep by 43.5cm tall, which is roughly on a par with the other dehumidifiers in its class. Accurate adjustable humidistat allowing settings from 35 to 80% relative humidity in 5% relative humidity steps There is nothing worse than your dehumidifier breaking down just after the Manufacturer's warranty has expired. Here at Buy It Direct Ltd we want you to get the most out of your dehumidifier, which is why we offer a5 Year Warranty plan.

All costs includes parts, labour, call out and delivery charges, so you can rest assured there are no hidden costs. For smaller units we may ask you to return it to our UK repair centre. Our Extended 2 Year Warranty from Buy It Direct gives you the reassurance that if an electrical or mechanical fault arises you won't be exposed to costly repair bills. Our dedicated technical team will take care of your dehumidifier. With a range of domestic dehumidifiers, relatively low prices and some interesting new features (including smart connectivity and antibacterial properties), it's easy to see why consumers are starting to take note of this new company. Even so, it does a brilliant job of removing moisture from the air. While it's unlikely to get near 20 litres per day, it pulls large amounts of water from the air - especially at room temperature or higher. It also has a four litre water tank, so you won't need to empty it as often as other models (although this is smaller than the 6 litre Meaco Low Energy 20L). It's not perfect though. The CD20LE is one of the bulkiest dehumidifiers on the market, weighing a hefty 13.8kg and with a width of 42.5cm. The built-in carry handle and castors make it easier to move around the home, but it's certainly not a portable dehumidifier. It's also not as effective in cooler conditions, so for garages or unheated rooms we recommend a desiccant dehumidifier. The ElectrIQ CD10L, with the white and green colour scheme coupled with the circular holes of the outflow vent make it look quite modern and it certainly doesn’t give away its low price tag. With a 10 litre capacity, the Electriq CD10L is clearly designed for smaller homes than the excellent CD20LE. Unfortunately, we don't think it matches the performance of its bigger sibling. Water Tank - The dehumidifier has a 1.5 litre water tank which can be easily removed when it needs emptying. After it has been emptied and reinserted, the dehumidifier will automatically start up again.

Timer - The appliance has a 24 hour timer which gives you full control over scheduling. You can set the dehumidifier to work overnight or at off-peak hours, for example. Protect your dehumidifier against the cost and hassle of unexpected failure and give yourself some added peace of mind with one of our great value extended warranties! You can be assured that your dehumidifier will be covered against failure for the duration of your policy. Activated Carbon filter and HEPA filter: can remove pollen, dustand animal hairs in large rooms (up to 55 sqm) A good extraction rate, however, is not the only thing you get from this electriQ 10L low energy dehumidifier. One of the machine’s outstanding features is that it has an automatic energy-saving feature.

Refrigerant dehumidifiers work best when there is a big difference in temperature between the coils and air. This is why they tend to be most effective at room temperature and above, but gradually become worse as the temperature drops. There is nothing worse than your dehumidifier breaking down just after the Manufacturer's warranty has expired. Here at Buy It Direct Ltd we want you to get the most out of your dehumidifier, which is why we offer a 2 Year Warranty plan.

Free unlimited phone support with a UK dedicated claims line. We have a dedicated claims line and are here to help. Suitability - The electriQ 10L Dehumidifier is great at protecting against damp, condensation, mildew, mould, etc. It can dehumidify houses with up to 3 bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, living rooms, bedrooms, utility rooms, caravans, garages, offices, etc. It also filters allergens from the air, making it suitable for people with breathing problems. We have a few complaints about this model though. The main problem is that we feel it's overpriced, considering the basic features and 12L extraction rate. It's also relatively noisy and surprisingly heavy. Lights up red when the water collection tank is full. The CD10L will stop dehumidifying automatically when this occurs, so there is no chance of an overflow. While ElectrIQ claim that the CD10L will extract 10 litres of water per day, remember that they qualify this by saying that it was measured under conditions of 90%RH and 30°C. These are ideal conditions for moisture extraction and as the temperature and humidity drops, as with all refrigerant dehumidifiers, the extraction rate falls like a stone. While it’s impossible to say how much moisture it will extract in your home, compared to the competitors in its class, the ElectrIQ tends to extract slightly less, but not significantly so.It's not the most powerful dehumidifier on the market - you wouldn't expect it to be with the low energy consumption. But it can do a decent job at removing water, especially at room temperature or above. Once activated, the auto feature simply switches the dehumidifier on and off as the moisture content in the home increases and decreases. The goal is to keep the room’s humidity at the level you have set whilst using the least amount of energy possible. Low-temperature operation perfect for garages, cellars, holiday homes, boats and caravans now with advanced app humidity and temperature monitoring To take advantage of this great offer just simply add the warranty extension you want and we'll do the rest. The Electriq CD10L performs adequately at room temperature, but it can't match the best 10 litre dehumidifiers for water removal. When the temperature drops it really starts to struggle though - even more than the average refrigerant.
