Osmo decking Oils have a high coverage and are easy to spread and apply, the microporous finish allows the wood to breathe and helps to regulate the moisture content so reducing swelling and shrinkage. To begin, ensure that the oil is stirred thoroughly, and use an appropriate brush for application, whilst for larger areas use a floor brush.

Exterior Wood Oil is to be used outdoor for basic treatment and maintenance of new and previously oiled wood surfaces such as decks, garden furniture, cladding etc. While it’s true that excessive moisture can cause the oil to break down over time, most high-quality decking oils are designed to provide long-lasting protection even in wet conditions. For an even quicker and easier application, we recommend using Osmo Decking Brush (150 mm) which was tailor-made for decking and allows you to apply the finish while standing.To assess how much oil your decking needs, apply one thin coat, allow to dry, then apply a droplet of oil in a corner.
