About this deal

The oscillating feature provides full room coverage when in use, cooling your environment until its no longer necessary.

The most impressive thing about it is that the difference between the top and bottom fan speeds isn’t actually that great in terms of volume to the naked ear. There are both cheaper, and more expensive fans that can do this, I don't see why this is not true for this too. If you can’t stand the jet-engine volume of certain tower fans, the Honeywell QuietSet HY254E1 is definitely worth the extra cash over its rivals. This unit comes equipped with an impressive 5 speed levels of quiet control, a touch button electronic panel and a remote control that ensures every user an abundance of flexible options for accessing their HY-254. I can't find a size specification anywhere on the box or instructions but it stands at least 1 metre tall.I used it last night in my bedroom, it is very quiet when I am going to sleep and the timer function is useful, so that it switches off at a certain time, hopefully after I have got to sleep. It's volume, and tone, on the lowest setting presents itself as mere white noise, which is nice (unlike the purifier). Scottish Islands include the following postcodes: HS1-9, IV40-51, IV55-56, KA27-28, KW15-17, PA20, PA41-49, PA60-78, PH42-44, ZE1-3.

In addition, digital display (displays room temperature in Fahrenheit), remote control, oscillation and space saving design make a premium fan for the summer. General construction is also good - it feels sturdy when given a light push, with a large base helping to keep it stable. The item may be missing the original packaging or protective wrapping, or may be in the original packaging but not sealed. The Honeywell HY108E1 QuietSet Tower Fan has eight levels of quiet control for continuous comfort, including a sleep setting and also a white noise setting which can be used as an aid to get to sleep- blocking out distracting inconsistent sounds.

It's sleep mode, although being at a volume, is still perfectly reasonable to fall asleep too (unlike the purifier). The quiet Night mode offers a similar volume to other Honeywell fans on their low settings, with a score of 68db.

Also, it isn’t as quiet as I’d hoped so I don t think I will be able to leave it on at night in the bedroom. This is sufficient for most uses, but more options would also have been welcome, such as a timer, or suggested features I mentioned above. The glossy styling on top is a fingerprint magnet, but as the glossy aspect is so small, it's barely noticeable. It does, however, have a slightly more limited angle of cooling than its stablemates, with a 60-degree spread of air movement, compared to the HO-5500RE’s 70 degrees. It's now over 2 years since I purchased it, and it runs no different to the day I first switched it on, even after being used for 8+ hours a night, every night. The Honeywell HY254E QuietSet Tower Fan has eight levels of quiet control for continuous comfort, including a sleep setting and also a white noise setting which can be used as an aid to get to sleep- blocking out distracting inconsistent sounds. The item may be unused, unopened and undamaged or the item may be a factory second or an unused item with superficial or cosmetic blemishes.
