I may not have the most refined nose, but I have a handful of iris-based fragrances, and Fahrenheit Parfum is not entering their party. Although the vanilla in this isn't a realistic vanilla, like Tom Ford TV for example, it's an incredibly enjoyable vanilla, that creates a warm aura to heat up any evening experience. I like it a lot but doubt I need a bottle as I have DHP 100ml which is more interesting and stronger.

This morning, I applied it, in fairly liberal fashion - I like my fragrance to last at least until the afternoon (to the degree that I'm gratituously reminded of it whenever I stop to notice), and I'm mostly at arm's length from others all day. But it's so subtle and it doesn't become apparent to me unless I'm really up in there looking for it. I have to say that Fahrenheit Parfum has exceeded every expectation I had and is just a gorgeous, comforting, masculine and sexy scent.This has a wonderful violet leaf, which is the true star here- much fuller and highlighted more here than in the EDT.

Base of the perfume introduces Bourbon vanilla absolute that highlights beauty of the ingredients, ensures stability, warms and cuddles the skin. Vanilla , leather ( not sure why it is not listed on the notes pyramid ), rum and mandarine will lasts on the skin . The scent lasts for quite some time, I can detect it for the entirety of a night when worn and have remnants of it in the morning. I finally got my hands on this fragrance and I have to be honest, I was worried I wasn't gonna like it at first because I abhor the original EDT, it was way too strong for my personal taste.The ultra opaque, powdery tones sticking out and rebelling against the transparent/ethereal violet leaf and gasoline. It’s very well blended, hard to point out any bigger note, definitely the violet leaf, true to its DNA. As opposed to the original, in which the impression of leather is given by the violet/nutmeg combo, here the leather accord is the same as the one used by Tom Ford (Tuscan Leather) and AdP (Colonia Leather).
