I read Cara Mckenna’s Curio vignettes, enjoyed this as well, with the same prostitute storyline but this time in Paris. It also seems to be popular to make the woman have a position of sexual knowledge: she works writing a sex column, she works as a romance novelist, etc.The growing relationship was well thought through between Lori and Anders (the hot, bald escort) and had me rooting for them from the very start. Review: The opening to Escorted was great we meet Lori was is a famous romance novelist who is still a virgin and decides to hire a escort named Ander to take care of her problem. It was a little difficult to under Ander at times and I desperately wanted his POV, which we didn't get in this book. He makes her feel so at ease in his presence and because Lori isn't going by her fantasies because she wants real the entire scene feels real. The sex is awkward and boring, and even though they have tons and tons of sex in the book, the sex never gets exciting or not awkward.

Lori takes the role of student as sex is a completely new thing to her while Ander who is far more experienced takes the role of teacher.Not being able to be themselves, having to be polite, having to obey the jill/john to a certain extent, having to put up with the jill /john's baggage. I suppose the BEST thing you could say about her was that she treated Ander as a human being and not like a piece of meat. As we approach the 1/4 mark in the novel the first full sex scene between Lori and Ander was amazing.

I won't go into more detail so as not to spoilt the many twists and surprises but I'd really like to recommend this book in particular to anyone who loves realistic characters with depth. I liked that these characters were mature, so we didn't need to deal with anyone getting too whiney about things. Anyway, 2 stars for Ander (H) who kept milking the heroine for money even after having fallen irrevocably in love with her. By travelling as part of a group, you'll get to meet like-minded travellers and make friends for life!
