Not only is the pressing and sound quality astounding, it's a much more "Leftfield" sounding album than "This Is What We Do". The first album in 7 years from seminal electronic music pioneers and twice Mercury Prize Nominated, Leftfield. This cover image is a marked departure to previous Leftfield album imagery, chosen to reflect the warmth and positivity of the album and to celebrate the connections that we make with others throughout our lives.

For a long time, Leftfield were cast in the historic lens of that classic 90s phenomenon, the chart-baiting dance 'band'. Now consisting solely of Neil Barnes since the project’s reactivation in 2010, it’s a satisfying slate of reliably bass-heavy progressive house, featuring the ace single ‘Pulse’. In 2010, Neil Barnes reignited the Leftfield name, and went on to release an acclaimed new album (Alternative Light Source) touring the world with the full live band. Exploring themes around love, acceptance, diversity and healing, the album was written before and after two extremely challenging and transformative periods in the life of Leftfield’s Neil Barnes. Honest, forthright, unapologetic and unique in its aesthetic, the new album marks another milestone in Leftfield’s timeline. This Is What We Do is Leftfield’s first album of new music since 2015’s acclaimed Alternative Light Source, and is set to be released via Virgin Records on December 2. Neil Barnes brought the group back in 2010 and went on tour, recorded a new album and generally pushed Leftfield back into the limelight.
