The book is quite interesting though as it charts his progress from regular employment, through the comedy scene and into the mainstream media. I listened to the audio version, narrated by Michael and I'm so glad I chose this format over the print.

I read his previous autobiography many years ago and this follows on from 2006 and goes up to when he won a BAFTA in 2017. If you liked the first book, you'll definitely love this too - life, love and laughs with Britain's best-loved comedian. I bought the first autobiography in print years ago, but the over-saturation of McIntyre made it find its way to the back of the shelves and then into loft boxes fairly quickly. So I was so pleased to see that this book finds Michael striving for new goals, and is still every bit as entertaining as he finds the road to continued success can still be filled with pitfalls, as well as rewards.I really love the way he sees the humour in many things that to most people are just every-day occurences!
