Then, at the end of this vacation, we returned to the Bushlore branch and wanted to get the few things which went lose fixed on our expense. But we were told that it is soon Christmas AND they would not charge us and should have a good flight home (we are from Germany!!!). The safari starts in Windhoek and after visiting the scenic Waterberg area moves through the North Namibia Region which is ideal 4x4 over-lander country; the area consists of some of the most rugged scenery in Africa. Although the trails certainly require 4x4 vehicles, prior 4x4 experience is not essential and a briefing as well as complete vehicle introduction accompanies each hand over. You can travel very comfortably by bike. Do not pay high prices to dorms for 12-13 people in the city center. Stay in a tent or rent a room for half the price. Our expectations were very high because we hired a camper before from them and the car and service was superb (we tested the newer shape Hilux and had some problems, and all mechanics said the older model is much more reliable than the new one), much different from what we had experienced with other ZA hire companies.
