Giyu is one of two characters who have their own spin off, the other being Kyojuro Rengoku. Giyu's spin off is a two-part story depicting events after Giyu's encounter with Tanjiro and Nezuko, called Giyu Tomioka's Story. Giyu befriends Tengen and his family after the battle. When Tengen's child was born, he was allowed to hold the baby. [41]
