Ho intenzione di parlavi oltre che dei volumi, della scrittura e di tutto il resto, anche dei singoli personaggi. Fossero tutti così i distopici, ne leggerei molti di più, ma sfortunatamente una trama ben costruita non è affatto idilliaca. Soooooo I had only read about 10 chapters of the first book when I wrote that first part and since then I have read Unravel me and about eight chapters of Ignite Me. By the way, Juliette's powers? Very, very cool. I'm not keen on touching people anyway but having superpowers? Hell yes! To any girl who meets a boy who was "broken" by the way someone in his life treated him, who gets treated horribly by this boy -- run. His brokenness does not make it okay for him to hurt you. His brokenness does not mean that he deserves your forgiveness. There are plenty of people who suffer abuse and do not lash out and abuse the people they "love."

If you are a fifteen year old girl you’ll like them, but as an adult, I cannot fathom how other grown women can read this and say It’s good. It’s not. It’s wildly immature. I’m not saying this because it’s a YA series, I’ve read PLENTY of YA books that absolutely captivated me. Books meant for a much younger audience even. But these? THESE? Shatter me is the worst series I have ever had the displeasure of reading. They’re immature and childish because the writing doesn’t know how to handle itself. It doesn’t understand who its audience is supposed to be. It doesn’t understand the narratives its taken on. It doesn't understand its characters or plot. Everyone gets a happy ending. (obviously not the bad guys lol). By happy ending, I don’t mean everything is perfect, but I am saying that almost everyone gets what they wanted (everyone meaning the good characters). Also, although there was one big main goal that was shared, everyone still had specific things they wanted, which eventually happened. Chiaramente continuerò la lettura solo per Warner e per scoprire cos’è successo mentre Juliette vestiva i soliti panni d’imbranata cronica. Also, so many gifts (or powers or however you want to call it)! Of course Warner's also the coolest in that department.world building: the world's aesthetic was really satisfying and beautiful, but the world building overall wasn't as interesting as I wanted it to be. Questa parte della storia si merita cinque stelle solo per il personaggio di Warner. Ha detto delle cose che mi hanno fatto perdere la testa… La caratterizzazione del suo personaggio è ben fatta e cattura l’attenzione. Anche quella di Adam è una buona caratterizzazione, ma è noiosa, non incisiva come quella di Warner. E alla fine ho capito perché al protagonista maschile non è stato dato un corpo sostanzioso, perché non era lui il vero protagonista maschile. Love love love this book series. And although I know there are a lot of negative aspects about it and that it isn't perfect, I still think it was pretty good.

Con la protagonista è riuscito a dimostrare che ha sempre avuto buone intenzioni con lei e con il mondo, smentendo tutto quello che era stato detto su di lui. Her and Warner being inlove, Adam gets his shit together, and the world gets fixed, (Or maybe not).these books will make you feel a lot of emotions and will make you care for the characters and for the plot. There’s some comedic relief thanks to the character Kenji. His character is pretty funny and almost every interaction he and Warner have made me smile. (It’s not because they get along though teehee). First, I want to say that I don’t judge you if you like these books. If you have read this series when you were younger and formed an attachment to them, I understand. We all have our vices. This review is for anyone who has not read them yet—anyone older than 18.
