Making your own passionfruit purée

Remember, this is a when-the-air-hits type of drink! It's so deliciously cold and sweet and the passion fruit is so intense and enticingly flavoured that it can go down a little too easily. Step Three: Fill the shaker up about halfway with ice, put on the lid and shake for at least 30 seconds to ensure a proper mix. If you don’t have vanilla vodka on hand, using standard vodka is fine (but vanilla infused vodka is best). It also doesn’t matter whether you drink it with Prosecco, champagne or another type of sparkling wine. Use whatever you want.

How to make & drink a Pornstar Martini

The Pornstar Martini was an instant success when it came to the market in 2003 and since then it’s inspired many tasty variations. For example, the Born A Star Martini adds a Southern California touch. This is thanks to the inclusion of mamey sapote, a melon-like fruit in flavour and texture. Combine and mix only the syrup, lime juice, apple juice, and vanilla essence but not the passionfruit seeds, to avoid them sink to the bottom of your jug. A Pornstar Martini should be served in very cold martini glasses and garnished with a piece of passion fruit. There should be a shot (about 45mls) of prosecco or champagne on the side.
