About this deal

I kind of get how a teenager's body and mind reacts and develops different from adults. Sale is important for the survival in business and contribution in the economy. But they should do better. We should do better. I am uncertain if Japan is very liberal or very objectifying and oppressive these days - it's always dangling between these fine lines. But I agree with milkgreentea, girls will get impressions out of these works. And this is not romantic. It is not love. If this was to happen in real world, in the US for instance, imagine the sensationalisation coming from the media reporting a high school/college rape case. And there will be more coming to light, more progress made. So these shoujo mangas'd better catch up with the current and really do more than just pretty art. Shou is still an intriguing character for me because although he looks almost perfect (looks, grades, coolness, ability), he's just not and again for the same reason that the story presented the character's awareness of their flaws. As for the character progress, I found his patience to be the most freaking adorable in this manga because he was a playboy and technically speaking, he will lose a lot of time with Yuki once she graduates. Aside from that, I think there's still more to see with Shou's character on how Yuki got his attention and on his motivation towards basketball. This serie starts off so wonderfully. It has so much potential to be one of the best shoujos. When the author wants, she can give you all the feels in the world. I was so so so emotionally invested in the characters.

Ressler, Karen (February 28, 2018). "Japanese Comic Ranking, February 19–25". Anime News Network . Retrieved October 24, 2018.First of all, Yuki, (the female protagonist) doesn’t take any of Naruse’s (the male protagonist) feelings in consideration. But what stood out in this manga is the character progress and also the enjoyment I felt reading through it and relating with the characters.

Yuki got NO character development (other than being able to show a couple more feelings towards naruse) well...I'm not gonna blabbering the story here because you can see that at synopsis. And if you want to know more....just read the manga directly. P/s: I don't say that I didn't enjoy this kind of fiction growing up. But now it's different because I can reflect on how impressionable they can be and how they can morph one's thinking and development. Sure, one can say something like "who cares" and overlook this. Still. Be better, do better! Write better leads so that we readers aren't just amused, but can actually learn something from.

The list could go on, but one thing is sure: Namaikizakari is one of the most entertaining and exciting shoujo manga, that I've ever read. And it can be all thanked to the frame given by basketball, the characters who are acting like normal people and especially to the main male character, Naruse, who is not gonna wait Ressler, Karen (May 27, 2015). "Japanese Comic Ranking, May 18–24". Anime News Network . Retrieved October 24, 2018.this review may not make any sense, since im literally just ranting randomly at this point... but i hope you get the point. The most interesting part of this manga is on the smooth progression of the characters in terms of relating with all those happening around them - love, family, basketball, rivalry - and in that process, the flaws of each character are presented and what I like the most is the characters action to answer those flaws they discovered there's also no real wedding, no children and no growing old together but what was i expecting when the root basic problem (which is communication) is not even solved. This manga's ending left you with nothing but this lingering feeling of unsatisfaction because it ruined your nostalgic teen love for it. If you have a partner, pls treat them right. It would have been a lovely manga if Yuki loved Naruse better: giving him all her attention, appreciating him more, caring less about what other people think, making him feel safe, sayinf love affirmations to him more (look how happy Naruse is even with Yuki's small confirmations of love, which is a good progress from Yuki, if it's not for the latest chapters that ruined everything). Still, she's a pretty admirable character, because she always works behind-the-scenes, and is always determined to reach her goals. She's always selfless even if she doesn't show it in front of others. Also, the story really portrays that manager-basketball club relationship well, because I totally imagine Yuki being like the older sister of a bunch of kids. HOW I WANT AN OLDER SISTER LIKE YUKIII
