About this deal

We absolutely loved it, it's a beautiful part of Scotland. The park was easy to find, clean and tidy, the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful making our stay even better. The accommodation was very clean and spacious making it a home from home. Our caravan was on the seafront and was amazing. We will be returning. Thank you for a lovely holiday."

Scotland is world renowned for being home to some of the UK’s most spectacular scenery – so why not get that little bit closer with a touring caravan or camping holiday? What's great about Scotland? However. This approach has its challenges – not least finding that blissful spot. Suitable stopover points are limited and the best ones are well documented – so you may find yourselves having to drive around for a while in search of The One. It’s worth bearing in mind, too, that a layby that seems quiet when you park up may in fact see a fair amount of traffic later on, and there’s nothing to stop several more vans parking up right alongside you (sure you wouldn’t rather be on a spacious pitch within a peaceful caravan park?) The Scottish Highlands contain a number of mountain ranges and some absolutely gorgeous scenery, do not miss Glen Coe, a magical landscape of waterfalls, steep mountain peaks and deep river valleys. Glasgow sits in Scotland’s Lowlands and is the third most populated city in the UK. There’s plenty to do in the city, with options for family days out as well as great eateries for couples camping in Scotland. It’s believed whisky making began in Scotland and today there are over 120 distilleries’, many of which you can visit. Cardhu in Speyside was founded in 1811 and offers a range of guided tours. You’ll get an insight into the brewing process as well as a taste of the final result. The Glenlivet, Glenmorangie and Dalwhinnie are others worth visiting. Wherever you camp in Scotland, you’ll find a nearby distillery to discover. View our top ten distillery toursin the UK.

Scotland boasts many castles in various states. Some of the best to visit include Edinburgh Castle, Balmoral Castle and Stirling Castle. Kids love castles and Scotland has many of them, but Stirling Castle in particular makes for a fantastic family day out. This is one of Scotland's most important historical buildings and there is a whole section of exciting exhibitions that help bring history alive for children.

With the all the fantastic landscapes and beautiful sandy beaches on offer, families have loads of options from swimming, cycling, and walking to sightseeing and just relaxing with a picnic. One of the most historical buildings in Scotland, Scone Palace is well worth a visit for its exhibitions, events and outdoor activities. Learn all about the castle, the crowing place of Robert the Bruce and Macbeth and explore the grounds which span 100 acres. Take a tour of the city to get your bearings. Walking and bus tours are available year-round and are a great way to get to know the city.

Camping in Glencoe makes for an awe-inspiring outdoor adventure. Explore Glencoeby day, and at night, light your campfire to watch the stars. Why not head to one of the glen's famous local inns to hear old tales of clan battles and cows rustling in the surrounding mountains. Loch Lomond Whether you’re looking for lodges with hot tubs in Scotlandor a luxury retreat just steps from the Highlands' beautiful beaches, you’ll find lodge holidays at 5 of our parks.
