The first clue that the T’au Empire book was incoming came hidden ina Warhammer Community post at the end of October, Games Workshop revealed the T’au codex would release early next year. No specific release date was given,but GWsaid it wouldbe one ofthe “first new codexes coming in 2022”. The Damnation Cache (959-961.M41) - The Despoiler invades the Pandorax System with an alliance of Traitor Legions. Sweeping aside Imperial resistance, Abaddon breaks into the vaults below the world and opens the Damnation Cache, an ancient portal to the Warp. A combined force of Dark Angels and Grey Knights come to Pandorax's aid in an attempt to stop a daemonic incursion from engulfing the sector, and eventually succeed in closing the portal. Unbeknownst to the Imperium, however, the Despoiler has already left Pandorax, taking with him a rogue psyker of prodigious strength.

This is basically the Vect stratagem, and with fewer starting CP, it could really make a big difference throughout the game. Granted the forbidden knowledge and strength of Chaos, a Champion can lead armies, conquer whole worlds and achieve greatness and ultimately, immortality. At the same time, the gods who choose to favour this Champion can bring their influence to bear upon him, so that even as he furthers his own ambitions, he also furthers the dominance and plots of his patrons. Again, the stats are basically identical, and guess what else is? All the weapons! We’ll have to see what kind of special rules they get, but right now, it’s looking basically the same. New Codex Chaos Space Marines Terminators Rules After killing a unit, the unit is then considered to be in destruction, massacre, and slaughter for the rest of the gameThe 9th Edition Space Marines codexwas released on October 10, 2020, so it’s available now. There is also a special Collector’s Edition available, if you fancy it. First up are a totally new kit for the Possessed that is scaled up to 40mm bases and stands shoulder to shoulder with a Primaris in Gravis armor. The kit looks like there will be many bits, and they even mention it is a big, multi-part kit. New Cultists It’s also looking distinctly chaotic on Warhammer+ this week, with Battle Report showing a clash between the Sons of Horus and the Imperial Fists to demonstrate the new rules for Warhammer: The Horus Heresy. There’s also a Citadel Colour Masterclass on smoke effects, while the lore from Psychic Awakening books 4 and 5 come to the Warhammer Vault.
