About this deal

As we said above, take this table with a pinch of salt. Here’s our reasoning behind the various costings.

This box is a bit unusual: It isn’t an expansion to a specific season, but rather a narrative expansion for Kill Team. The box contains:Based on the prices of the Kill Team: Phobos Strike Team, Kill Team: Corsair Voidscarred, Kill Team: Novitiates, Kill Team: Pathfinders and Kill Team: Kommandos. double-sided game board and scenery for Killzone Nachmund. This is some pretty cool Sector Mechanicus stuff with huge plasma reactors and a very detailed crane, which makes for a very different experience from the previous two Killzones (there’s way fewer walls here). The Heavy Gunner can choose between two guns (in addition to his Array of Blades): The Dark Lance takes up a Darklight slot in your kill team roster, but it does 6 normal damage and 7 critical damage and has Armour Penetration 2– but it takes 2 Action Points to even fire it.

This is the third expansion for Kill Team: Into the Dark, so it takes place within similar close quarters battlefields on the Gallowdark space hulk. The Crimson Duellist is a close combat specialist, armed with a Splinter Pistol (see above) and the Razorflail, which hits on a 2+, does 5 critical damage, has the Brutal Special Rule and the unique Flail Special Rule, thich discards two of your opponent’s succesful hits rather than one every time you parry with it. This group of skinks is pretty sweet, especially knowing that the Seraphon are getting a ton of new toys in the near future! The Jade Obelisk fighting the Close Quarters battles of the Into the Dark season, as well as for the missions and campaign scenarios specific to the Into the Dark box (read our campaign guide here) With these two books (above and below), you've got all the extra rules that you need for running these Kill Teams if you missed out on the boxed sets. Shadowvaults covers the Necrons and the Kasrkin and Into The Dark explores the Kroot and the Imperial Navy Breachers.

Kroot are interesting, and if you were ever intrigued by the sub-factions, now is a great time to start them. Kill Team: Imperial Navy Breachers This is one of those boxes that’s just as much about its value as it is about its utility in the game. This issue includes rules for the Hunter Clade Kill Team. Read our guide for these stalking servants of the Omnissiah here. These rules have also been collected in the Kill Team Annual 2022 book. Kill Teams released Inquisitorial Agent

Wondering how to paint your grizzled Exaction Squad operatives? The Warhammer painting team have pulled together a list of their recommended paints for that dark, serious look. With sophisticated repulsor plates and powerful jet engines, Scimitar jetbikes are closer to low-flying aircraft than bikes. They’re used for deep strikes and hit-and-runs by Sky-hunter Squadrons – a unique threat on the battlefields of the Horus Heresy. Experienced Kroot Mercenaries who hunt the deadliest prey for a living (and delicious new genes), the Farstalker Kinband is full of specialists like Kill-brokers, Long-sights, Cold-bloods, and Kroot Hounds. They make a formidable Kill Team , and can also join T’au Empire armies in Warhammer 40,000 where they can be armed as Kroot Warriors with Kroot rifles. Kill Team: Imperial Navy Breachers It contains rules for the following Kill Teams (the list notes in parenthesis when a Kill Team has had an update in an expansion or article):

New Kasrkin, Kill Team: Soulshackle, & More: FIRST LOOK

Arbites Chirurgant - The standard medic comes with the same armament and stats as the Vigilants, but can heal nearby Arbites and once per turning point, stop a nearby friendly unit from being incapacitated. Continuing with the action from The Lord of the Rings™: The Two Towers ™, snap up Gandalf the White and the Heroes of Helm’s Deep for the forces of Good, or the Warg Riders and Uruk-hai Battering Ram from Evil’s foul hordes.

But is this box worth your time and hard-earned money? Well, to try and help you make your decision we here at FauxHammer.com have put our heads together to try and come up with some speculative costings and values for this new box. The Hand of the Archon warriors can build up pain tokens as they incapacitate enemies during the battle, which they can spend to reroll dice, gain extra activations, and perform free dash actions after incapacitating enemies. This box follows the design that’s been the norm for 40K and AOS starter sets in the latest editions: There’s an emphasis on “starter” here. Dark Animus can be used when an operative is activated, and it gives that operative a +1 to its Action Point Limit. Shed a tear for the Gallowdark ! We reach the final boxed expansion for this season of Kill Team in Gallowfall, in which a deep-space salvage team from the Leagues of Votann battle with a braying band of Beastmen for possession of long-lost Ironkin cognitive units. This boxed set contains parts and rules for both of these kill teams, as well as a set of Gallowdark terrain with exciting new bells and whistles to play nine new missions.* The rules for this Kill Team can be found in the Chalnath book. Read our guide for these high-tech hunters here. Legionary This is the second expansion for Kill Team: Into The Dark, so it takes place within similar close quarters battlefields in space hulks.
