It's not the first time that I've noticed that RK makes her characters assume opulently a robe of exalted passions and exceptional emotions for the sake of drama and angst. I'd be more annoyed if it weren't so unintentionally funny. That's why, having clowned her wannabe poetry from the top to the bottom, I digress. These two are one of Rina’s most explosive couples’ yet. I feel like all I can say is Wow, Wow, Wow! Killian was like opening a box inside another box inside another box, etc….His character was fascinating and yet, also kept me on the edge of my seat never knowing exactly what he was going to do. I loved him for what would seem like a hollow shell on the outside, but he was truly a kaleidoscope of color on the inside. Glyndon grew in her strength, but it was more of an uncovering, something she always had inside of her, but Killian helped to bring it out. Their story was turbulent and dark with a splash of mystery that I’ve come to love with Kent’s books, but I was also transfixed and loved every moment of it. definitely my favourite sociopath up in here!! there were many of them too... but he took the cake🥺

With the introduction of Malal in the comics, it was inevitable that the deity would find its way into the Games Workshop Chaos mythos and thereby into other products: more sweet Killian. He actually makes an effort, but I would’ve liked to see them as a nice couple a little bit longer (like in an extended epilogue lol). I get it. We’ll get their HEA as the series continues, but I wanted more
Narration: When I saw all the narrators, I thought this was a full cast, but we get a few chapters from other POVs, just the one though. I'm a fan of Sebastian York, but their voice didn't seem age appropriate for God of Malice. It was off when we'd go from Josie Minor as Glyndon and then into Killian's chapters, didn't sound like a 19-year-old. I enjoyed Josie's narrations but wasn't a fan of the voiceovers for their dialogue with Killian. I enjoyed the brief cameos of Aaron, Wen, and Kylie, their voices were great for their one chapter, and will definitely be on the lookout for more by them. leviastrid were the worst characters in the royal elite series so it makes sense that the fmc is astrid’s spawn bc glyn’s character was so utterly boring and she has the personality of a blank piece of paper.. i don’t understand why killian was so fascinated and obsessed w her.. and naming her glyndon?? JAILLL 💀 (yes i still hold the biggest grudge towards astrid bc of how she treated my bby nicole) It took me time to warm up to the story. I love dark romances, but this one started in the worst way possible: with a rape. Just after the mention of a suicide, and, maybe, a suicide attempt–though Glyndon denies it.
Jeremy and Gareth... ehhhh. don’t think we saw enough of them for me to deduce an opinion yet. Jeremy definitely intrigues me, even though him and Gareth feel very similar.
I will not lie when all the characters were introduced I forgot a bit about our main characters and I had to remind myself that this book is about them. But it's only because I can't wait to read about all new characters, or almost all of them, because not everyone is supposed to have a book. Hopefully Rina will give characters who won't have the book in this series their own stories in another series, like Knox from RES. i have absolutely zero thoughts except those revolving killian. rina really put her whole kussy into his character, it was almost baffling 😮💨 And yet… it’s a dark romance, so I didn’t expect sunshine and rainbow. I took everything in stride, and focused on the characters’ arcs. And that was one eventful ride. If you want love, then I do love you, but it's the unorthodox version of love. I love you enough to let you wishing my walls. I love you enough to allow you to have a over me when I've never allowed anyone to have the power to destroy me from the inside out"I'm so underwhelmed. So scandalized. I'm yet to see anyone complain about how toxic, patriarchal and despicable that kind of thing is. Hey... hello... is anybody here?? Are moral police on vacation??? i always wanted Bran and Jay (Nicole’s brother) but im assuming it’ll be Nikolai and im really not mad about it. Death of peace of mind — bad omens (TMI — the last part of the song genuinely scared me the first time I listened to it lmao my heart fr skipped a beat 💀 I wasn’t expecting it and I couldn’t stop pissing myself laughing bc of my reaction😭) The Spring 1987 Journal featured the miniature figure sets of the two Chaos Brothers, Jaek and Helwud, Kaleb's main adversaries in Part 3 of the comic. Part 4 " God Amok!" was also advertised in this issue, but it never saw print. It is uncertain how much of this fourth installment was actually completed. Allegedly the comic was canceled because of "creative differences" between the creators and Games Workshop. Even after all the justifications for Killian’s behavior–his psychopathy, his habit of getting what he wants, his upbringing, his friendships, etc.–I’m still not sure of what I think of him. His seduction was more like sexual assault, his love more like obsession. Despite the insistence that he couldn’t have any feelings, he still had some emotional moments with his family. He was a complicated character for sure, not really loveable though.umm… I wasn’t gonna say this first, but I’ll say it. The 🔥 lol. There’s a lot of them 😬😅. Once Killian takes Glyndon’s v at about 50%, it’s on 😉. I’m surprised these two came up for air 🤣. I appreciated that he *respected* her feelings here and there… until he was tired of being *respectful*
