About this deal

The 1/2.3-inch CMOS sensor that holds 20.3MP appears to be the same as the one in the ZS70, as does the 30x LEICA DC VARIO-ELMAR optical zoom lens that covers a 35mm-equivalent range of 24-720mm; and thankfully this is stabilized, so that it can continue to deliver sharp images regardless of where you are in the focal range. The current range offers a huge choice of speed, image quality, movie quality, zoom range and much, much more.

Speaking of the screen, it tilts all the way forward, which is great for all those holiday selfies. Being able to tilt up is also useful for framing from low angles. It doesn’t tilt downwards, though, making it difficult to shoot from high above crowds, for example. Panasonic Lumix TZ95 – Performance The electronic viewfinder is on the small side, but it’s usable – particularly in very sunny situations, where bright light might preclude the use of the screen. Of course, there are also folk who just prefer to compose that way. Thanks for your comment, and I do appreciate that you cannot cover all versions in comparison. It is just frustrating when considering an upgrade, not being able to easily compare. (I was reading on an android tablet). As well as the new vlogger tools, older models to compare and contrast with the TZ95 include the Canon PowerShot SX740 HS. This boasts a similar form factor yet has a broader focal range courtesy of a whopping 40x optical zoom. Just like the Panasonic it offers a 20.3 megapixel 1/2.3-inch sensor, and under ideal daylight conditions provides color-rich, punchy images requiring little if any image adjustment afterward.Motion Picture:/Approx. 1/25 - 1/16,000 sec/Approx. 1/2 - 1/16,000 sec (Creative Video M Mode / MF Mode) Bridging the gap (sorry we had to!) between basic point-and-shoot cameras with minimal control and interchangeable lens cameras (like DSLRs and mirrorless), bridge cameras combine complete manual setting control with a fixed lens with an extremely wide zoom range. This makes them an excellent choice if you’re looking for greater control over the style and composition of your photography without worrying about the cost and logistics of multiple lenses. Because of their wide zoom capability, bridge cameras are a great choice for a wide range of photography, from family portraits to landscapes. On the top is a mode dial for moving between the different exposure modes the camera offers. Enthusiasts will be pleased to note the manual and semi-automatic options here (it also shoots in Raw format), while point-and-shooters are catered for by automatic and scene modes. While all the above spec is pretty much a must-have for a compact digital camera released in 2019 – whereby said camera needs to sufficiently differentiate itself from smartphones and tablets to be worth buying, while simultaneously staying familiarly close to them in terms of operation to stay approachable and ‘current’ – it’ll come as no surprise that this is pretty much a pimped up point-and-shooter, ‘thanks’ to a small, standard-issue 1/2.3-inch sensor at its core. Video - The TZ95 records 4K UHD video, at 30 or 25fps. FullHD video can be recorded at 60, 50, 30, 25fps. You can also record high-speed video at 120, 100fps, at 720p resolution. You can also set the camera to give you manual controls for video recording.

The shutter release button is raised and encircled by a lever for operating the zoom, so you can’t mistake what it is, next to which are two smaller nail-head sized buttons, flush to the bodywork. These are for turning the camera on or off, or commencing video recording – said function denoted by the familiar red dot.Mirrorless Cameras Canon EOS-M Cameras Canon EOS-R Mirrorless Cameras Fujifilm X Mirrorless Cameras Nikon Z Cameras Sony Alpha Cameras Panasonic Lumix S Cameras Panasonic Lumix G Cameras Olympus OM-D & PEN Cameras Canon EOS-M Mirrorless Cameras While its size may suggest a simple snapshot camera, the ZS80 offers photo enthusiasts unadulterated Raw files as well as JPEG capture, plus the ability to shoot up to 4K-resolution video. Aiding ease of use, a familiar red record button on the top plate allows video recording to immediately commerce, whichever alternative mode has been selected on its top plate shooting mode dial. More easily overlooked is a lens control ring. This encircles the retracting zoom lens at the front, with said ring again enabling access to certain pre-assigned settings on the fly. Alternatively, when in ‘iA’ (intelligent Auto) setting, the same lens ring provides an alternative means of zoom adjustment, other than nudging the lever encircling the camera’s shutter release button.
