That’s pretty much how the entire industry runs, be it stage amps or home audio models. Whatever wattage you see will be about twice what you can actually get, if you can feed it enough power. A power amp connected via the pre-out could certainly change things. The original TB10D lists 32V 6A and 28V 8A power supplies as working, which gets you just short of 200W. If you wanted to push things, you could try a higher wattage power supply to see what happens. Reply
Fosi Audio TB10D Amplifier Review
It gets plenty loud filling the room with good control, but it’s not hard to hear when you reach the higher distortion levels. It pairs better with bookshelves on the desk, and more than plenty for this application. It drives the Behringer Truth 2030P to deafening levels at <3m.
Sound
The Fosi Audio V3 is the first device from the company to feature a new, more modern design style. While previous devices adopted a more generic, classic design, the V3 is more streamlined, to the point it could be said it’s minimalistic. The only concession to form appears to be a series of holes on top of the chassis, which form a flower-like shape at the centre of which stands the Fosi Audio logo. Not only does this make the amplifier look more sophisticated, it also helps with heat dissipation (as there is a corresponding, yet not as elaborate, series of holes on the bottom). It’s a very nice design which can fit in any context. Fosi configured the TB10D as a 2 channel design internally bridging it down to two channels and using an appropriate filter. They included a 32V 5A power supply and given the 90% efficiency rating of the amp we should expect no more than about 80W per channel (32V x 5A * 90%= 160W /2 channels). It’s powerful, it’s full and rich and warm, and the bottom end is really impressive. It’s a simple unit with a simple purpose, as a stereo power amp with a single RCA, and it does what it says on the tin. I watch all CheapAudioMan videos. I enjoy him and I find some of his videos worth the watch, but I think that if either of the units he thrashed above were US made, then he might have something different to say.

Even though the THD or total harmonic distortion is high, the price performance value of the Fosi Audio TB10D is high, with the Amplifier having a super nice sound for the money paid, and with the price being what you’d typically pay for entry-level Chifi IEMs or Earphones, this is a nice deal I can recommend anyone who’s looking for the most affordable HIFI Stereo Amplifier. It has more than enough power for most headphones, and while Fosi Audio products look similar, they also sound fairly similar, so go with the one that has all the features you need, the differences in sound won’t be high enough to justify the price difference.

Old shit isn’t really that great, even the hyped stuff like the Adcom. Weather that be because of degradation over time or nostalgia clouding your memory (probably both). This holds double true for speakers btw, *hint, hint*. Reply First, the TB10D is a class D amplifier, made in China, that is reportedly rated at a whopping 300 watts per channel for a total rating of 600 watts.
