They work for >1 year without noteable difference to the original ones. Maybe even slight more capacity left. Always correct percentage-reading in the cam. But they are not really cheap, 24€. A lot less the original, but noch "cheap"A micro USB cable is required and not included. Charging requires 5V 2.1A USB power. USB chargers that powerful are not common. Most chargers will be 1A or less. Using a less powerful charger will still work, but charging will take longer than it would with a more powerful charger. If you need a USB NP-FW50 charger, this one charges batteries. I am going to continue to use it. If you want an adapter that plugs into an outlet, get a DigiPower TC-U450. Sony Cameras That Use NP-FW50 Batteries Sorry, but I think the above linked batteries are garbage. Described as 1800mAh (not a serious capacity, originla is imho 1080, baxxtar 1050). And even on their own picture 1950 is written. Furthermore no word of an included / build-in infochip, so battery capacity would at least not shop up in camera.

Accordingly with your experience, what is the most reliable NP-FW50 aftermarket brand to replace the super expensive original Sony?
