About this deal

My favourite product? The night cream is the one that has won my heart. I'm not sure I ever want to be without it. It's lightweight but nourishing, and leaves my skin looking like it's had a full 8 hours come morning (even when it hasn't). My least favourite? Probably the day cream. Although I still adore it, the sun protection isn't broad-spectrum (meaning it doesn't contain any protection against UVA rays), and it's too much for my oily skin to use both the day cream and a broad-spectrum SPF on top. Having said that, I still scraped out the dregs until it was finished. What are the No7 Future Renew products and do they work? After three months of testing, I can firmly say that yes it does. First of all, let's look at the science put into proving the claims. The formula includes a 1.5% “retinol complex” which consists of 0.3% pure retinol, 1% retinol optimizer, and 0.2% retinol soother. Matrikines are peptides that regulate cell activities through cell signaling. The two matrikines in Matrixyl 3000 work synergistically to restore and maintain the skin’s youthful appearance by signaling to cells to produce more collagen.

What kind of results can you expect?

Although this new peptide technology is very exciting, it's not to say that the products themselves, complete with filler ingredients and everything else that make up a cosmetics product, can harness the same results the technology shows in vitro. As you’ll soon learn, this brand is most well known for its anti-aging serums, particularly the No 7 Retinol Serum. Based on the name, you’d think this serum contains 1.5% retinol, right? Well, that’s actually not the case.Charlotte has been using Protect & Perfect Intense; this is the serum that got all the press attention ten years ago when the BBC Horizon programme carried out research on it. When Horizon revealed that Protect & Perfect was as effective as No7 claimed, the serum sold out immediately and caused queues in store and huge waiting lists. In recent years the serum has been reformulated to be even more effective. This No 7 eye cream has a silky texture that will glide on easily, helping the skin around your eyes to feel smooth and moisturized while also possibly disguising signs of aging like crow’s feet. As if that wasn’t enough, research suggests that when vitamin C is applied to the skin, it significantly reverses aging-related structural changes by influencing collagen and elastin synthesis.
